Ordering
Purchase of Original Paintings:
If you think you might be interested in buying a painting, then please do get in touch. Please see the Buying and Contact page. I’ll be more than happy to chat about your interest and requirements, with no obligation.
The following explains my order process if you decide to buy an original artwork from me:
I will check that the painting is ready for dispatch and will get back to you to let you know this. If it is not, I will give you an estimate of when it will be ready.
(In order to offer a good range of paintings to customers, some paintings advertised on the website may not yet be ready for dispatch. Oil paintings can take a long time to dry prior to being varnished and despite being artistically complete, may require ‘oiling up’ as well as varnishing to preserve their longevity and appearance. If you contact me to order a painting that is not yet ready for dispatch, I will advise you of the estimated timescale for completion of these processes. If you are interested in waiting for the completed work, I will take your details (name, address, phone number and email address) and contact you when the work is ready.)
If you are happy to go ahead with the purchase, I will ask for some details from you at this stage (- your name, address, phone number and email address).
When the painting is ready for dispatch, I will contact you with details for payment purposes and send you an email confirmation of the order and the total price due.
The price shown on the website includes all costs except for postage and packaging.

For your security, please note that I will never ask for any of your bank details as part of the order process. I would only ever ask for your sort code and account number as part of a returns process, if necessary.
I accept payment by cheque or BACs.
Paintings will be dispatched once payment is received and cleared.
I like to get in touch with my customers after the expected arrival of the painting, to check that they have received it safely and that they are completely happy with their purchase.
Purchase of Other Products (e.g. greetings cards, calendars):
Once I have received your order via phone, email or through my online shop, I will send you an invoice, with my details for payment via BACS or cheque. If not already supplied I will request your name, address, phone number and email address for the purpose of fulfilling your order.
The online checkout only allows for standard (second) class delivery; if you would like your order sent first class, please contact me directly.
For your security, please note that I will never ask for any of your bank details as part of the order process. I would only ever ask for your sort code and account number as part of a returns process, if necessary.
