'On the 16th Fairway' - Spitfire of Sgt. B. Whall, 602 Squadron. - Framed Small (10" x 8" sheet) Open Edition Print £30.00 +(p&p)
Painting of B. Whall's Spitfire flying over a golf course on which a Stuka Aircraft has landed.

The painting depicts Sgt B. Whall’s aircraft in combat at around 2.35pm on the 18th August 1940, near Angmering, West Sussex. Whall is turning back to the fight; visible below is the Stuka that he has just caused to force land on the 16th Fairway of Ham Manor Golf Course, near Angmering, W. Sussex. (Angmering village can be seen just below the Spitfire’s wing.)

This print is taken from one of my original oil paintings, created to commemorate the bravery of the pilots involved in the Battle of Britain.

SUPERB OPEN EDITION PRINT – 10” x 8” (25.4cm x 20.3cm) sheet size. Image size is c. 9" x 7" (c. 23cm x 18cm).

This print uses the same high quality conservation grade printing processes and paper as my full size limited edition prints (link below), so the print quality is still to the same excellent standards.

The framed print is the perfect option for buying a COMPLETE GIFT, ready to give to the recipient.

The print comes framed in a solid wood frame with a smooth black painted finish. It can be hung on a wall with ease, but also comes with a stand so that it can be displayed free-standing on any flat surface. The print comes fully fitted in the frame, with a protective acrylic glazing.

Please Note: Prints are produced in small batches. I normally have one copy of each print available for immediate dispatch within 2-3 days.

This painting is also available as a:

Full Size Limited Edition
and
Unframed Open Edition
