A grandfather calmly soaks up the nostalgic reminiscence of a lost era, while his grandchildren respond instinctively to the sudden release of steam around them, all rapt, and all in awe of this leviathan of the steam era. The locomotive in this painting (92212) is preserved by The Watercress Line Heritage Steam Railway and is depicted pulling out of their beautifully restored Alresford Station, Hampshire.
This print is taken from one of my original oil paintings.
SUPERB OPEN EDITION PRINT – 10” x 8” (25.4cm x 20.3cm) sheet size. Image size is c. 9" x 7" (c. 23cm x 18cm).
This print uses the same high quality conservation grade printing processes and paper as my full size limited edition prints (link below), so the print quality is still to the same excellent standards.
The framed print is the perfect option for buying a COMPLETE GIFT, ready to give to the recipient.
The print comes framed in a solid wood frame with a smooth black painted finish. It can be hung on a wall with ease, but also comes with a stand so that it can be displayed free-standing on any flat surface. The print comes fully fitted in the frame, with a protective acrylic glazing.
Please Note: Prints are produced in small batches. I normally have one copy of each print available for immediate dispatch within 2-3 days.
