Why Buy From Me?

All of my products derive from my own original and unique artwork. I am passionate about the subjects that I paint, it’s more than a just a picture. I enjoy researching my subjects to achieve authentic detail and historical accuracy. In particular for my aviation work, I am portraying events in memory of the actual pilots who fought in World War 2. I want to tell their story, and I feel a strong sense of responsibility to produce a painting worthy of their bravery and remembrance.

What Products are Available?

Original Unique Oil Paintings:

'Two Minutes to Close' - Hurricane of F/Lt. Humphrey a'Beckett Russell, No. 32 Squadron. £800 (+p&p)

My paintings are all original, unique pieces, created by me with great attention to detail, and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.

I paint using high quality lightfast water based oil paint usually on extra fine Italian linen canvas board. These are some of the finest most durable art materials used in the world of fine art painting. The paintings are completed with one of the best art varnishes available, which creates a high quality finish and provides excellent protection for the art for the future.

You can purchase the painting unframed, presented in an attractive, hand-finished presentation box.

Alternatively, if you prefer to purchase a framed piece, for a small additional charge I can help you find a frame and fit it to the painting so that it is completely ready for hanging. I use a company which makes the frames to order in the UK, and I have found their quality and reliability to be excellent.

I send all my paintings by Royal Mail Special Delivery service.

Prints:

'Forward Slip Home' - Spitfire of F/Lt. John Dunlop Urie, 602 Squadron- Full Size (20" x 16" Image) Limited Edition Print (25 Prints). £65.00 (+p&p)

All of my prints are of the highest quality, produced by one of the UK’s leading fine art printers, dStudio (a Fine Art Trade Guild member, and multi-award winning and carbon neutral printer).

They have used the Giclee process on the superb eco friendly Hahnemühle Hemp paper (290 gsm) to produce the finest quality prints of my paintings. The paper has a unique texture which brings fantastic character to the prints.

Extensive work has gone into colour matching the prints, giving as close a reproduction as possible of the original painting. The printing is remarkable and gives the incredible quality that I want to bring life to the reproduction of my art in print form.

I send all of my prints by a tracked delivery service, and my unframed prints are sent flat (not rolled).

There are two ranges of prints, limited edition and open edition, theses ranges are explained below:

Limited Edition Prints :

My range of exclusive super-limited edition prints of my larger paintings are a full size reproduction of the original oil painting, with a print run of only 25 prints.

Each limited edition piece is hand signed and numbered individually by me.

The only other print editions of these paintings that will be made are the small (Approx. A4 size) open edition as described below.

These really are truly collectible pieces, as only 25 of each will ever be made!

Open Edition Prints:

These prints are around A4 size, and are available for many of my paintings. The same high quality papers and printing processes are used for these as for my limited edition pieces. Many of these are available with framing options too.
